Privacy and confidentiality
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how NEXO Business Group LLC collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information while operating this website, responding to inquiries, and providing tax, bookkeeping, and administrative services.
Effective date: October 22, 2026
1. Responsible party and scope
The party responsible for privacy matters is Administration of NEXO Business Group LLC, located in Montrose, Colorado, United States. Privacy inquiries may be sent to privacy@nexobg.com.
This Policy applies to nexobg.com, forms linked from the website, and information NEXO receives by email, telephone, WhatsApp, or while delivering its services. External websites and services maintain their own privacy policies.
2. Business inquiries
The official inquiry form collects a name, telephone number, email address, preferred language, contact preference, personal or business activity, services of interest, urgency of the request, and how the person learned about NEXO. It also provides a separate, optional authorization to receive news and promotions by email.
Inquiries are received through Google Forms. Responses are linked to a Google Sheet with restricted access, and NEXO receives notifications when new responses are submitted.
Do not submit Social Security numbers (SSNs), ITINs, identification documents, tax returns, tax documents, bank details, or other sensitive financial information through the public form. If NEXO needs additional documentation, it will provide instructions for an appropriate submission method.
3. Tax, bookkeeping, and administrative records
When a person engages NEXO for a service, NEXO may receive additional information needed to perform the authorized work. This information is different from the initial information collected for a business inquiry.
- Identity and tax information, which may include date of birth, an SSN or ITIN, dependent information, income, deductions, tax forms, and supporting documents.
- Business and financial information such as transactions, income, expenses, payroll, sales tax, employee or contractor data, and QuickBooks records.
- Documents, communications, and instructions related to the scope of services accepted by NEXO.
4. How we obtain information
- Directly from you, your business, or a person you authorize.
- Through Google Forms, email, telephone, WhatsApp, meetings, and other agreed channels.
- From tax authorities, financial institutions, payroll providers, or other sources when you authorize it or when permitted by law.
- In a limited technical form through infrastructure needed to deliver the website, including logs generated by the hosting provider.
- When you accept statistics, through Google Analytics 4, which may receive technical and usage information such as pages visited, browser and device type, referring website, and approximate location derived from the connection. NEXO does not send form content or URL query parameters to Analytics.
5. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, understand a person's needs, and coordinate possible services.
- Prepare, review, or file documents and returns authorized by the client.
- Provide bookkeeping, QuickBooks, payroll, sales tax, and administrative services.
- Request documents, communicate about services, and manage the client relationship.
- Manage billing, payments, and business records.
- Measure website use and improve its content when the visitor has accepted statistics.
- Meet legal, tax, regulatory, professional, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access, and maintain website operation.
6. Informational and promotional communications
Consent to receive news or promotions by email is separate and voluntary and does not affect how an inquiry is handled or whether services are provided. Authorization may always be withdrawn by writing to privacy@nexobg.com, in addition to using any unsubscribe method available in the communication.
Communications needed to respond to an inquiry or provide a service are not promotional communications.
7. Confidentiality and disclosure
NEXO does not sell or rent personal information. Tax, financial, and administrative information is treated as confidential and is disclosed only as needed to provide an authorized service, follow client instructions, use a provider supporting the service, or comply with law.
Depending on the service, information may be disclosed to tax authorities, technology providers, financial institutions, payroll providers, professional advisers, or other authorized parties. Specific authorizations for the use or disclosure of tax information will be requested separately when required.
8. Providers and storage
The website is hosted by Vercel. Google Forms and Google Sheets are used to receive and organize inquiries. Google Analytics 4 is used only after consent for statistics has been obtained. For tax services, NEXO uses CrossLink, including Document Archive. Working documents are also maintained in computer folders synchronized with Google Drive. NEXO uses QuickBooks for its own accounting operations and related client services.
The website links to Google Business Profile, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Intuit. When you use an external service, that provider may process information under its own terms and policies.
9. Cookies and analytics
The website uses functional storage to remember the selected language and privacy choice. This information is necessary to preserve visitor preferences and is not used for advertising.
Google Analytics 4 remains completely blocked until the visitor accepts statistics. If accepted, GA4 may set first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<identifier>, to distinguish users and maintain session state. NEXO's implementation keeps advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization denied and does not enable Google Signals or User-ID.
Visitors may reject statistics or later withdraw consent through the Cookie preferences link in the Footer. When consent is withdrawn, the website stops subsequent measurement and removes the GA4 first-party cookies it can identify for this domain.
External services you choose to open may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their policies.
10. Access and protection
NEXO limits access to inquiry and client information to authorized persons who need it for the purposes described in this Policy. This Policy does not disclose internal configurations, credentials, or technical procedures.
No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. To share sensitive tax or financial information, request NEXO's authorized channel and do not use public forms, social media, or open messages.
11. Retention and disposal
NEXO retains information as needed to respond to inquiries, provide contracted services, meet legal and tax obligations, respond to audits or disputes, and maintain legitimate business records. The applicable period depends on the information and service; this Policy does not establish one retention period for every record.
In NEXO's Google Analytics 4 property, user-level and event-level data retention is set to two months. Resetting the retention period upon new activity is disabled.
These settings apply to granular user-level and event-level data used in contexts including explorations and funnel reports. Google states that the retention setting does not affect standard reports that use aggregated data, which may remain available for a longer period.
When information is no longer needed and no obligation requires its retention, NEXO may delete or destroy it under its applicable procedures.
12. Privacy requests
You may ask what information NEXO maintains about you, request a correction or update, withdraw consent when applicable, or request deletion. Some requests may be limited by identity-verification requirements, legal obligations, or the need to retain records related to a service. Write to privacy@nexobg.com.
For general service inquiries, write to contact@nexobg.com.
13. Minors, changes, and contact
The website is not directed to minors. In connection with tax services, NEXO may receive information about dependents or minors from a parent, guardian, or authorized client and use it only for the relevant service.
NEXO may update this Policy when its services, providers, practices, or applicable requirements change. The published version will state its effective date.
